Still going strong. Bought a second unit as well. Please note that the first row is just an indicator and not buttons at all. The first row denotes the mode the cooktop is in, which you can select using the function button.
Edit. After 1 year of use
Requires a little getting used to. The overheat cutoff is set at a low temperature which is why it is virtually impossible to cook at 2200 for long. However it will be fine if you use it at 1300 – 1600 setting. At first I thought that it is faulty, then after using for a few days I got a hang of it. Since at >2000 it heats up too fast, it cuts off to protect from damage. You can cook at 1300 – 1600 setting for long without cutting off, and it will cook only a tad bit slower. So start cooking at 2200 and after 2 to 3 minutes when the utensil becomes sufficiently hot slowly reduce the setting, This will prevent overheating. This way the cooking will be just as fast without headache.
For using at 2000 setting for long go for Phillips, however note that it damages any induction when you cook at high heat for long. My Phillips induction only lasted me 3 years because of that.
After 7 days of use
I had a lot of hopes with this induction cooktop. I bought it just after amazon started taking orders after lockdown. The experience has been poor since the last day. I bought it along with infrared cooktop which is much more functional than this. The biggest fault is the overheat error. It is virtually impossible to cook anything at 2200 setting, as it would overheat within minutes. At first I tried lowering it bit by bit, and at last only heat setting for it to be properly functional is at 1300. So you can never utilize full potential of the cooktop. I bought the cooktop after which the lockdown was reinitiated and I could not return it as it was only means to cook at home. Now since lockdown keep extending I cannot even reach out to wonderchef service center. Moreover, I doubt it will even help to go to the customer care, as it seems to be a defect with the model, as I see a lot of similar complains. I suggest to go for Philips induction cooktop as they are much more durable than this. Me on the other hand is stuck with this.

It stopped working not even been 15 days. It’s like they set something in the product that It should stop working after return window so the customer can’t do anything. Now I can’t go out get it fixed due to Covid and risk everything over the mess Amazon sent. Thank you Amazon.
