It broke and blasted to pieces after heating for the first time and nearly struck my eyes. Thank god i was wearing glasses. I cannot return nor can i use this. Waste

Ordered this replacement glass in early November. Used this evening for the first time. Turned the stove on and a couple of minutes later I stepped aside to bring the pot to put on the stove. A few seconds later I heard a loud sound and turned around to see shattered glass everywhere. Shocked to see what had happened. I feel extremely fortunate that I had stepped aside at that moment as if I’d been in front of the stove I’d for sure have been pretty badly injured. Hate to think of what the state of my eyes might’ve been if I’d been there.
Spent the next two hours cleaning up the glass that had sprayed as far away as 10 feet from the stove. Glass pieces everywhere. I’ll no doubt still find myself stepping on broken glass a couple of weeks from now even though I feel like I did a good job of sweeping. Can’t get everything.
I don’t think Amazon should be selling this glass on their site. I lost Rs 700 or so on this purchase but I still feel fortunate to have escaped uninjured other than stepping on some shards of glass.

The glass is good and can be used for replacement of induction broken glass. Quality is good.
