The induction plate and the steel rim has a small gap. It gets filled with small particles over a period, however carefully handled.

Been using the cooktop since last week of Jan 2025 and I am happy to say that its doing the job well. Is aesthetically appealing and considerably heavy. Hence good looking for the kitchen platform and hope it proves to be durable also in the long run. The touch controls are a breeze. Off course make sure to wipe of liquid spillage from the glass top soon. Prospective buyers can definitely try this one
