It was not at all as depicted in the photo. Had black paint on it. I had to burn that off before i could use it. Entire house was smelling of burnt paint. Neighbours thought they sniffed a short circuit somewhere 😂….
But considering i got it for less than ₹400, it’s pretty decent.
We ordered without colour product but delivered black product which is very bad quality –
Solid! This is two THICK pieces of stamped steel, with a STEEL easily detachable handle.
I was buying traditional ‘wood and tin’ ones, and the handles or actual tin consistently degrade after 2 years. This one feels like a tool that’s built to last. It’s slightly smaller than the ‘generic’ ones, which IMO works much better for a gas stove.
Some people claim the handle is unstable. I disagree. I like it. It’s strong, and it’s easily detachable by pinching it.

Avoid this product like the plague. It was advertised as a piece of silver metal – how can you get that wrong? Thought maybe we had got a special heat coated one instead? Checked product description but no. Bought it as we needed it urgently but immediately filled the entire flat with thick disgusting smoke that made it hard to breath.
