Disappointing Experience: Cast Iron Tawa Fell Apart After Just Two Uses

I’m extremely disappointed with the cast iron tawa I purchased from Indus Valley . Initially, I was excited to try out this cookware, but my enthusiasm was short-lived. No warranty nothing.
# Poor Quality and Durability
After using the tawa only twice, I noticed a significant crack on its surface. To my horror, the crack spread, and the tawa literally fell apart while I was cooking. The metal was brittle and fragile, which is unacceptable for a cast iron product.

All the products in this combo are good in make quality finishing, but I think these are not preseasoned as they claim I have to spend near one hour to season tawa, after that it works well. not sticky. These items will last longer with proper care. Free Tadka paan is not made with cast iron difficult to put on stove because of its heavy handle.

The main 3 items, pan, tava and Kadai, are heavy and sturdy. But the free gift of the tadka pan is horrible, light weight and despite washing 6 times, there is a black soot on the fingers. .

I put the cast iron tawa from indus valley for the first time on the stove and after a few minutes I heard a sound and there was a crack from the left side of the tawa. I’m very sad. My phone’s camera quality isn’t very great so, the crack isn’t visible very much. But, the other 3 items were all good.
