The cooker’s base is delightfully curved—so much so that it wobbles precariously on a glass-top stove. If you’re a fan of the charming rattle of an unstable base during cooking, this is the perfect product for you! Truly, Pigeon’s decision to go with a curved induction base is a masterstroke of innovation. They should absolutely be in the running for the “Best Designer of the Year” award—preferably in the category of “Solutions Nobody Needed.”

This Pigeon super cooker has been a blessing for my busy schedule… From steaming veggies to making soups and even cooking biryanis, this product handles everything like a pro…multiple cooking modes and thick base ensure even cooking, and safety features give me peace of mind. Cleaning is a breeze, thanks to the high-quality non-stick coating… compact but versatile, and the lid fits securely.. locking in flavors ..stopped using my regular pressure cooker as this is so convenient! A must-have for every kitchen!

Writing this review after using this for 4months. This cooker-kadai pot is perfect for biryani cooking. I used this on my induction as well as gas stove and it is perfect for daily cooking. All 3 lids are a perfect fit. I used this cooker cum kadai vessel for making various delicious food items .

The Pigeon Super Cooker is an all-rounder appliance that has made my cooking routine so much easier. It comes with a number of accessories through which I can steam vegetables, pressure-cook dals, and even sauté curries—all in one pot. The safety features, like the locking lid, are excellent, and I feel confident using it every day. It’s also compact, so storing it is no problem. A must-have for any kitchen!

I’ve been using the Super Cooker for a few weeks now, and it’s honestly a lifesaver. It’s got a strainer, which helps to easily drain the rice water….and a beautiful handi shape …Perfect for making pulao, soups, slow-cooked dals and even biryanis. It’s fast, quick, and doesn’t overcook the food… Compared to my old aluminum cooker, the Super Cooker is one step ahead as it cooks faster, the flavors come out so tasty and creamier, and it feels much safer to use because of its multiple safety features. And let’s not forget, for this price… you’re getting something really solid and durable… Great for anyone looking to upgrade their pressure cooker without spending a bomb.

For the first time if the lid is not closing, place the gasket inside the lid and wash everything in water. Now after placing the lid on the cooker body matching the correct position (same as other pressure cookers) and push down 4 to 5 times to release air from the inside through the nozzle. Now it should be easier to turn the handle and lock it in place.
Another thing we noticed, there are scratches on some handles as if it is used or there is some quality check issue. Probably better to go to store and get it if you want to check the item first.

When my previous electronic pressure cooker melted, I decided to switch to this charming and classic model.
It does require a bit more attention than its electronic counterpart, similar to maintaining a delicate relationship. Food does tend to stick to the bottom occasionally, even with slight overcooking. However, cleaning requires gentle care as harsh tools are not recommended. This means cleaning by hand with a soft sponge, which can be time-consuming.
The cooking times are very fast and i love the taste so I recommend it still.
