This induction cooktop is really easy to use with soft-touch buttons and multiple preset options. It heats up quickly and cooks food evenly, saving both time and energy. It’s perfect for daily use, especially with its durable build and simple design. Worth every penny!

Service is very horrible as compare to other Company products. Phillips is having the very worst service network particularly in Karnataka. Recently i purchased Philips HD4995/00 2100W one induction Cook Top on 21/10/2024. Not getting heat up. So I booked complaint on 25/10/2024.Till today it is not resolved. Continuosly calling the Customer Service Centre as well as Service Engineer at Bangalore. They are not bothering at all. So in future my suggestion to all is not to purchase any Phillips made eqpts.

Now, this is going to be a biased review, because I am writing from the point of view of a supposedly defective product that I had received. The Hd4995 is a brand new induction cooktop from Philips that looks and feels absolutely gorgeous, I think it’s probably the best among all the models from all the brands, minimalist design with beautiful finishing, touch and plastic/glass quality. If you place it in your kitchen, it immediately enhances the look of the entire kitchen, I have used other inductions before(including the top models from Prestige), none of them had this effect. This could really go well with my LG Inverter microwave and Glen BLDC Chimney both of which are technically superior product with superb finish. But, soon after I started cooking, it stopped after an hour, upon inspecting I found out, the plug heated so much that it had melted my board plastic and gotten loose(which was a blessing in disguise)…and mind you, I was using a 10 Amp top quality Oreva board connected to a 16 Amp outlet, and at the time of the incident I was running the induction at its lowest continuous power setting which is 800watt, that means it’s well under the board’s maximum output(10amp*230v==2300 watt) or the power socket’s max output(16amp*230v=3680watt), and I have been using this same setup for my previous induction at much higher wattage without any issue, so no problem there…upon further inspection I found out, the actual plug of the induction is the one that’s getting heated, so I decided to use another 16 amp plug, this time directly without any board and same issue persisted. Upon even closer inspection, I noticed a slight crack in the plug itself, and one of its pin also seemed to have little deformation around its base…so yeah, there definitely was a minor short circuit inside, I was lucky that it didn’t damage my boards or itself…So, of course, with a heavy heart I had to return it, and even though it only had Replacement option, Amazon is gracious enough to take it back and Refund me the whole amount. So, this time I chose Philip’s supposedly higher and older model Hd4938 at much higher cost, which has some additional functions, but the design and menu looks cumbersome and old, and comes nowhere close to the beauty that was HD4995. I just hope this issue was only with the particular product that I got and not a design fault or anything.

  6. Aashutosh Sharma

My first induction cooktop in home which is user friendly and efficient for modern kitchen. Some key features that I loved are soft touch panel, energy efficient, fast heating, easy to clean, user friendly display etc. One of the standout features of this model is the 11 preset cooking menus which saves the hassle of adjusting heat manually. Overall it is reliable with safety features and value for money.
